Our Core Principle
We cannot see, access, or decrypt your data. Your passwords remain encrypted with keys that only you control.
Zero-Knowledge Architecture
SecurePasswordVault is built on a zero-knowledge security model. This means:
Your Master Password Never Leaves Your Device - It is used locally to derive encryption keys and is never transmitted over the network.
End-to-End Encryption - All data is encrypted on your device before any synchronization. We only see encrypted data that we cannot read.
Local Key Generation - Encryption keys are generated locally using industry-standard algorithms (Argon2id for key derivation, AES-256-GCM for encryption).
No Backdoors - We have no way to recover your data if you forget your master password. This is by design.
Data We Do NOT Collect
We are committed to minimal data collection:

Data Storage
All your sensitive data is stored locally on your device:
Local Encrypted Database - Your passwords and secure notes are stored in an encrypted database on your device.
Optional iCloud Sync - If enabled, only encrypted data is synchronized. The encryption keys remain on your devices.
Secure Enclave Integration - On supported devices, we use the Secure Enclave for biometric authentication.
💡 Your Data, Your Control
You can export or delete your data at any time from within the app settings.
Access - View all your stored data within the app at any time.
Export - Export your data in standard formats for portability.
Delete - Permanently delete your data at any time.
Consent Withdrawal - Withdraw consent for optional features like iCloud sync.
